| CUSTOM DESIGN BUILD HOMES |
Right Way Builders, Inc. is a general construction firm with an uncommon attitude about home construction. We believe that the best way to build custom homes is to treat every customer as an individual with unique tastes and style, but to give the same dedication and attention to detail that we would give to our own personal home. From start to finish, we build each house without cutting corners. We love the challenge and creativity of special touches, such as curved stairways, nooks, angles, arches and more.We will custom design and build your home, or work from plans you provide and we welcome changes during construction. |
The Construction Process
|
Pre-Construction
During the pre-construction meeting, you are invited to sit down with John Mast, owner of Right Way Builders to do a final review of your home plans. Together, you'll verify the placement of the house, review the blue prints, and find out what to expect during the building process. Once city or county permits are cleared, construction can begin.
|
Foundation
The foundation is the concrete structure that supports your entire house. The time required to build a foundation varies depending on the building codes and geographic location. Soil conditions, integrity of the ground, weather and the size of your home need to be take into consideration also. Then the masonry crew will set forms and pour the foundation.
|
Framing
The frame is the skeleton of your home. Windows and doors are placed in the frame. This phase takes between 1 - 4 weeks.
|
Rough Mechanicals
If the frame is the skeleton, then the rough mechanicals are the internal organs or your home. During this phase, air-conditioning, heating, ventilation, plumbing and electrical wiring are introduced to the structure. If you've opted for any special security systems, central vacuum, or pre-wiring for your entertainment centers, installation takes place at this point.Typically, you will be invited down to the site for a "walk through" to verify that all the options you selected are in place.
|
Finishes
This is the midway point of the building process. The finish is the skin of your home, including insulation, drywall, roofing, siding, the driveway and all major interior and exterior surfaces. You will be invited down for another inspection. All of these touches really help your house to start and look like home. Countertops and cabinets are installed; the house is painted and stained. Flooring is laid in the kitchen and bath, and any additional plumbing and electrical projects come to completion.
|
Trims
During this phase, you will begin to recognize the home you designed. The faucets and sinks, light switches, towel bars, door knobs and all other small hardware you will be using on a daily basis is installed.FinalsThe flooring is installed the final week to protect your carpets and hardwood floors from boots, nails and dust. Any minor adjustments take place now, like drywall and paint touchups. The house is given a thorough cleaning and is ready for the final "walk through".
|
Final "Walk Through
"After weeks of hard work and patience, it's time to do the final walk through and inspect the premises. Once all the walk-through inspections are finished, you are ready to move into your beautiful new home!
